Cloud 9 Resort is recommended for visitors with a passion for rainforest and coastal views. Cloud 9 is a 30 minute into the mountains from Apia or 1 hour 15 minutes drive from the Faleolo (International) Airport. We have three double rooms each with private bathroom with hot water (air-conditioning not needed at this altitude) situated in the main white house on the side of the hill with spectacular views.
Our restaurant and bar offers spectacular views of the rainforest overlooking the coast and Apia Town. we have a large wooden veranda for outside dining as well as tables and bar inside (allow $USD20/day meal plan). Ideal for bush walking (managed trails meander throughout our 400 acre property), bird watching (the rainforest is above and below you) and complete relaxation.

Getting There:
A taxi direct to Cloud 9 from the International Airport will cost about ST$60 (takes 50 minutes) and from Apia Town about ST$12 (takes about 20 minutes). Car rental is not available at the international airport as a Samoan driving license is required - these are only available from the licensing office opposite the Police Station in Apia.
When in Apia, be sure to visit the Travellers' Lounge for tourist information, tours, internet, coffee and ice cream. Travellers' Lounge is located facing the harbour just two minutes walk from Aggie Grey Hotel heading back towards town.
